There is only one place in the world that the whole family can have major fun and that is Orlando, Florida. Orlando is the home of Disneyworld. This is a place that everyone should get to at least once in their life. Orlando is the city of magic, dreams and fantasies. There are four unique theme parks and two water parks. This is the perfect family vacation all in Orlando, Florida.

The Magic Kingdom is the heart and soul of all four theme parks. Just the Cinderella Castle is magical in itself. The other three theme parks are Endicott, Hollywood Studios and Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Make sure to see the parade and fireworks at the Magic Kingdom you and your family will never forget them.

The second theme park is the Epicot Center which was an addition to Disneyworld in 1982. The Epicot Center theme park is more of a science reality park. There are eleven different countries represented at Epicot that is called the “World Showcase” where you can get a look at the cultures of each country. As you walk from one country to the next you will find yourself enjoying each atmosphere that each country offers.

The third theme park is Disney’s Hollywood studios and it was added in 1989. This theme park is where you can visit sets of great Disney movies such as Toy Story and The Little Mermaid. You also get to see how animation is done and you can take a turn at being one of the voices in any of Disney’s animated cartoons or movies. It is amazing to see how the great Disney movies are made.

The fourth and final theme park is the Animal Kingdom that was added in 1998. Animal Kingdom is the home for over 1700 animals and sets on 500 acres. There are over 250 different species at the Animal Kingdom. This is a great day for the younger children who might not understand Epicot and Hollywood Studios.

For those of you that one or two days of a theme park are enough there are many other activities outside of the theme parks. You can go parasailing or water skiing if you want a day in the water. If you are an avid golfer there are five different golf courses for you to golf your heart out at. As your time moves on you might want to step out of the shadows of Disney and see what the city of Orlando has to offer.

Orlando, Florida has many tourist attractions that you might want to add on to your schedule of events. The attractions include:
